Density Patterns

Density is the number of strands of hair on your head, and how closely the strands are packed together on your scalp. Baldness is the result of the scalp becoming exposed because of the loss of hair density.

Scalp Micropigmentation can create an illusion of thicker hair by creating density. The contrast between the hair and skin can be minimized by the tattooing of pigment to the scalp, blending and shading the SMP follicles with your existing hair. The scalp becomes unseen by the eye, and therefore appears to have more density.

Scalp micropigmentation is a great option for male pattern baldness, bald spots, or women with thinning hair. In addition, clients who have had a hair transplant can use SMP to complement their surgery by adding density, which would result in the appearance of thicker hair.

Density and dimension are created in 2 to 3 sessions for hair loss. Density is a personal preference. Some clients prefer a less saturated look and there is no need for a 3rd session.
