SMP Equipment

For our Scalp Micropigmentation procedures we chose the best SMP equipment for us. Because we care about the smallest details, we tested several machines and gave careful consideration to the following features:

  • Grip
  • Weight
  • High repetitions per minute
  • Low vibrations
  • Reliable motor
  • Consistent needle work

An often overlooked feature when choosing the hand piece is the weight of the machine. This is important because as a tattoo artist, I do not want my hands cramping up from working with a gun that is exhausting to hold for long periods due to the sheer weight of it. In addition, we understand and know how to choose the correct size needle cartridges for each client. This is extremely important.

If the microdots are too big or not spaced correctly, you can lose the natural looking result. This is even more critical when combining dark ink and dark skin to implant small impressions. This helps keep the results natural so that the procedure does not have that blackout effect and ends up looking like it was painted on.

All these features work in combination to help achieve control and reliability in creating a beautiful and natural result.
